By Edmund S. Cibas, MD, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Department of Pathology, Boston, Massachusetts and Barbara S. Ducatman, MD, Dr. Ducatman is president of the Association of Pathology Chairs and sits on international, national, state and organizational committees. She also worked at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ducatman was a lieutenant commander for the U.S. Public Health Service from 1992-1996 and a lieutenant commander for the U.S. Navy from 1983-1986.
