This issue addresses the evaluation and management of the complex head and neck cancer patient with articles focused on unique epidemiology and therapeutic principles by subsite of disease. Additional information relevant to rare head and neck malignancies is included. The issue further focuses on the evolving applications of minimally invasive surgery in oropharynx cancer and the role of immunotherapy in the management of advanced disease.
